KAUFMANN® EXPOSED CONCRETE PRIMER

KAUFMANN® Exposed Concrete Primeris an acrylic emulsion based, water-based, high adhesion exterior primer. It has been developed especially for surfaces with low absorbency such as exposed concrete and difficult paint adhesion. It forms a strong bond between the surface and the paint, reduces paint consumption and provides a homogeneous appearance.

Application Surfaces

KAUFMANN® Exposed Concrete PrimerIt is especially suitable for exposed concrete, precast concrete, cement based plaster, gypsum, putty, drywall, OSB, MDF and strong old painted surfaces.
It balances the absorbency rate of the surface, ensures that the topcoat paint spreads more evenly and integrates with the surface.

Application

• The application surface must be dry, clean, sound and able to support the paint.

• Remove dirt, dust, mold oil and loose layers from the surface.

• On new plastered and concrete surfaces at least 28 days the setting time should be expected.

• Primer after necessary surface corrections, single floor applied by brush, roller or airless spraying method.

• Ambient and surface temperature during application +5°C to +30°C should be between.

• The surface should be protected against direct sunlight, strong wind and frost during application and drying.
