KAUFMANN® TRANSPARENT LINER

KAUFMANN® Transparent Primeris an acrylic emulsion based, water-based, high adhesion, primer material specially developed for exterior facades. When applied before painting, it reduces paint consumption by creating a strong bond between the surface and topcoat paint, ensures homogeneous spreading of the paint on the surface and prevents fluctuations on the surface. It forms the basis of long-lasting paint applications with its breathable structure.

Application Surfaces

KAUFMANN® Transparent Primer is used on absorbent surfaces such as plaster, gypsum, putty, gypsum board, concrete, exposed concrete, betopan, OSB, MDF and also on old painted surfaces in good condition before topcoat paint. It is recommended for use in all areas where primer is required, especially on exterior facades.

Application

The surface must be clean, dry, sound and able to support the primer. Remove dirt, dust, oil and loose layers from the surface. At least on new plastered surfaces 28 days the setting time should be expected.
Primer, as a single coat brush, roll or airless spraying method can be applied.
Surface and ambient temperature during application +5°C to +30°C direct sunlight and frost risk environments should be avoided.
